It seemed like nothing was getting done for about a month and then all of a sudden it's all coming together relatively quickly. Electrical was finally to a point that the insulation and drywall could be done. Insulation was done Tuesday. Wednesday the sheetrock was put up on the new living room walls and ceiling and the bathroom walls. Thursday morning they knocked down the wall between the old and the new including the fireplace facade. Today they worked on finishing some electrical. Tomorrow morning the sheetrock crew will be back to finish the transition wall between old and new and start taping and floating. Tonight we are going to Mom's for the first time since the remodel. It is just too messing and too hard to keep it cool with just the one AC unit working. The new AC won't be turned on until the sheetrock is finished so that it is completely sealed and to avoid sucking the dust into the system.

New garage door location. The one closest to the cabinets will be sheetrocked tomorrow and used to hold new cabinets.
View into my closet. It turns to the right which is the second view. Sort of hard to photograph. Jim's is the same size it just doesn't have the big turn at the end. His has an area 16" deep and 6 feet wide for shelving.
Stay tuned...more to come soon...I hope.
